Chief Minister Raman Singh said that the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) is the biggest symbol of Indo-Russia Friendship which was built by the engineers and workers of both the countries.

He was flagging-off the India-Russia motor rally on the completion of 70 years of Friendship between the two great nations at his official residence here.

Singh welcomed the travellers in the rally from Thailand , Russia and India.

He expressed his good wishes for the nine thousand kilometer rally.

The rally was launched at Bhilai Steel Plant today morning and reached Raipur. The friendship between the two nations entered the 71st year today.

The rally consists of 10 cars in which 40 passengers are travelling. The rally will cover 9000 kilometer in 23 days and conclude at India Gate in New Delhi.

The motor rally will cover Ranchi, Bokaro, Jamshedpur, Bhubaneshwar, Visakhapatnam, Amaravati, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Cheenai, Cuddalore, Neyveli, Kanyakumari, Bengaluru, Goa, Navi Mumbai, Vadodara, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad, Ajmer, and New Delhi.
