BRICS Agriculture and Agrarian development Ministers to Meet on 9 October
Monday, October 5, 2015
On 9 October 2015, the Fifth Meeting of the BRICS Agriculture and Agrarian Development Ministers will be held as part of the 17th Golden Autumn Russian agricultural exhibition.
The ministers will discuss, in particular, cooperation in providing nutrition to the most vulnerable groups of the population, reducing the negative impact of climate change on food security and the adaptation of agriculture to climate change. The agenda also includes expanding mutual trade, investment and exchange of agricultural technologies and innovations.
Following the meeting, the ministers will adopt a joint declaration.
