Ural Federal University to Open Russian Language Center in China
Ural Federal University and Qingdao Hengxing University of Science and Technology signed a contract to open a Russian Language Center in the People’s Republic of China

Ural Federal University and Qingdao Hengxing University of Science and Technology signed a contract to open a Russian Language Center in the People’s Republic of China. Students at the center will be able to prepare for entrance exams in Russian universities and take tests for any certification level in Russian.

The center of the Russian language will open in Qingdao, the site for the training will be Qingdao Hengxing University of Science and Technology, founded in 2001 and graduates about 15 thousand highly qualified specialists every year.

The Chinese partner university will be responsible for solving organizational issues, as well as creating the conditions necessary for learning Russian. The Preparatory Department for Foreign Students of UrFU will develop the methodological program of the course and teaching materials, and will lead the organization of the educational process. The Russian language will be taught by the staff of the UrFU Preparatory Department, which annually graduates about 400 students from different countries.

The Qingdao Hengxing University of Science and Technology plans to teach more than 80 students, and the first group of 20 will begin training this academic year.
